BUKHARA STATE MEDICAL INSTITUTE STRENGTHENS COOPERATION WITH MEDICAL INSTITUTIONS OF THE TURKISH REPUBLIC

As previously reported, the rector of the Bukhara State Medical Institute A.Sh. Inoyatov took a part in the conference “Maternal and Child Health”, organized by the University of Health Sciences in Izmir, Turkey.

 

 

 

During the conference, the rector met with the head of several leading medical universities in Turkey and discussed issues of cooperation between universities. One of these meetings was with Professor Tunkai Goksel, the head physician of the Aegean University Hospital in Turkey. The rector got acquainted with the conditions at the Aegean University, a modern university laboratory. Negotiations were held on the academic exchange of students and teachers, the creation of joint research projects and the implementation of joint programs. A.Sh. Inoyatov invited the rector of the Aegean University, Professor Necdet Budak and the chief physician of the University of Tunkai Goksel, to the ancient city of Bukhara.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Inoyatov also visited the clinic of the University of Health Sciences in Izmir, where he met with the head surgeon of the clinic Mustafa Emiroglu. As you know, from 2019 to 2020, the University of Health Sciences and the School of Qualified Medical Services were established at the Bukhara State Medical Institute. Rector A. Inoyatov and Mustafa Emiroglu discussed the practice of students in the clinic. The parties also exchanged views on possible projects between the two institutions. Following the meetings, a memorandum of mutual understanding was signed with all institutions.
