On October 24, 2019 in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, the international scientific-practical conference “Internationalization and Innovation in Higher Education” was held, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of A. Kuatbekov Peoples' Friendship University. The conference was attended by representatives of 52 universities from Uzbekistan, Russia, Turkey, Poland, Kyrgyzstan and other countries.

The conference was attended by the Head of Medical Chemistry Department L.N. Niyazov and assistant F.F. Umurov. At the opening of the conference, on behalf of the rector of our institute Professor A.Sh.Inoyatov associate professor L.N.Niyazov congratulated the rector and the staff of the partner university.

At the conference, the Head of Medical Chemistry Department L.N. Niyazov, made a report on theme “Cases as a motivation for teaching chemistry in higher medical schools”.

In addition, representatives of our institute visited the Department of Chemistry and took part in an internship in the specialty General and Inorganic Chemistry. Together with the faculty of the department they discussed the latest news in the field of higher education, the exchange of experience in teaching the subject of chemistry and teaching-methodical work.

In the afternoon of October 24 and October 25, representatives of the delegation from Bukhara visited another partner university, South Kazakhstan State University named after M. Auezova. During the visit, the delegation got acquainted with the regional research laboratory at the university and discussed issues of further development of cooperation, master classes were also organized for students and teachers over two days.
