Аннотация

Среди стоматологических заболеваний зубочелюстные аномалии по частоте и распространенности занимают третье место после кариеса зубов и заболеваний пародонта. Их диагностика и лечение считается одной из актуальных задач в ортодонтии, они влияют на жевательные функции, вызывают нарушения речи, эстетические дефекты и ограничивают проявление человеческого потенциала, значительно снижая качество жизни. Это патологическое состояние вызывает различные патологические изменения в височно-нижнечелюстном суставе, наряду с нарушением косметического состояния, нарушением пережевывания пищи. При патологических прикусах у подростков отмечаются и изменения в их общем психоэмоциональном состоянии.
