Medical Education and Practice Integration: A Cooperation Memorandum Signed in Bukhara

A significant agreement has been reached in the Bukhara region to integrate medical education and practice, elevate the healthcare sector, and improve medical services for the population. A bilateral cooperation memorandum has been signed between the Bukhara Regional Health Department and the Abu Ali Ibn Sina Bukhara State Medical Institute.

This document aims to implement scientific research and innovative projects in medicine, enhance the professional qualifications of healthcare workers, and improve the quality of medical services in the region.

Within the framework of the memorandum, cooperation will be carried out in several key areas:

✅ Development of medical education and improvement of practice-based training programs;
✅ Conducting scientific research and implementing modern diagnostic and treatment methods;
✅ Retraining and professional development of doctors working in healthcare institutions;
✅ Studying and integrating traditional medicine with modern treatment methods;
✅ Strengthening disease prevention measures and improving public health;
✅ Expanding telemedicine opportunities and organizing qualified consultations for critically ill patients.

Additionally, practical training sessions for medical professionals will be organized at the Simulation Clinical Center of the Bukhara State Medical Institute, helping doctors enhance their skills and familiarize themselves with modern medical technologies.

The memorandum is signed for a five-year period, with the possibility of extension upon mutual agreement. The document was signed by Professor Shukhrat Teshaev, Rector of the Bukhara State Medical Institute, and Elyor Oltiyev, Head of the Regional Health Department.

This collaboration marks an important step towards integrating medical education and practice, improving healthcare services, and strengthening public health in the region.
