International cooperation is an integral part of the activities of the Bukhara State Medical Institute (Bsmi) and is an important tool in ensuring the quality of education and its compliance with international standards.

Bsmi’s international activities are aimed at increasing the prestige of Uzbekistan in the higher education system and further development in the world educational space.

This work is carried out within the framework of cooperation programs with leading universities of foreign countries, implementation of international educational programs and projects, joint scientific research work, Organization of scientific and practical seminars and conferences, exchange of teaching staff and development of student mobility. The Bukhara State Medical Institute maintains stable relations with many foreign universities and international organizations in Asia and Europe.

One of the priorities of international activity is cooperation with universities of CIS member states. Cooperation agreements were signed with universities of the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Belarus. In addition, the institute is establishing promising cooperation with many other higher education institutions, research centers and companies of European, US and Asian countries today.

Bsmi is also actively working on the exchange of educational services.

International relations is actively used by the institute to organize and hold international scientific and practical conferences, seminars and round tables with the participation of leading specialists from foreign partner universities.

Bsmi has more than 160 cooperation agreements with foreign universities, research centers and clinics.
