The First International Congress on Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery of the Turkic World Held in Bukhara
On April 16–17, 2025, the city of Bukhara hosted the First International Congress on Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery of the Turkic World at the Windham Hotel. This important scientific-practical event was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republican Specialized Center of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, Abu Ali ibn Sina Bukhara State Medical Institute, several leading higher education and research institutions, as well as international organizations.


The congress brought together renowned surgeons, scientists, and specialists from member countries of the Organization of Turkic States, including Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and others. Participants shared their experiences regarding the latest scientific research, innovative technologies, and modern diagnostic and treatment methods in the field of plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery.


Over the two-day congress, more than 15 sessions, lectures, and masterclasses were organized. Hundreds of attendees took part in discussions on critical topics such as plastic and reconstructive surgery, dermato-aesthetic medicine, facial and body contour restoration, post-burn reconstruction, microsurgery, and more.


The congress served not only as a platform for scientific exchange but also as a means of strengthening practical collaboration and deepening integration in the field of medicine among Turkic states.
At the conclusion of the event, participants adopted several resolutions and put forward new initiatives aimed at enhancing cooperation.
The most active participants and authors of innovative developments were awarded special certificates of recognition.
