On June 24–25, representatives from China’s Landier Biotechnology LTD — CEO Yao Bo, and specialists Guo Zicheng and Xu Yonyon — visited Abu Ali ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical Institute.

During their visit, the guests, accompanied by Rector Shuhrat Teshaev, toured the smart greenhouse, Information Resource Center, and the Institute’s Center of Traditional Medicine.

During discussions, both parties explored potential areas of cooperation, particularly the development of medical and cosmetic products. They also discussed possibilities for joint projects and knowledge exchange in the fields of medicine and medical education between the two countries.

At a meeting involving professors and students, the parties highlighted the prospects of strengthening China-Uzbekistan partnerships in science, healthcare, and innovation.

It is noteworthy that the institute has established strong ties with several prestigious Chinese universities. Earlier this week, the rector visited China and signed memoranda of cooperation with Kunming Medical University and Yunnan University of Chinese Medicine.
