Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino
As of 2023, the institute had one student dormitory (TTJ) designed to accommodate 400 students. Starting from the 2023/2024 academic year, three new dormitories, each with a capacity of 1,200 students, were commissioned at the new campus. The existing old dormitory was fully renovated and equipped with two-tier bunk beds, increasing its capacity from 400 to 540 places.
As a result, the total student housing capacity has increased 4.35 times, and currently, the institute provides a total of 1,740 dormitory beds across two locations.
In the 2024–2025 academic year, the number of students at the Bukhara State Medical Institute has reached 7,749. To meet accommodation needs for the current academic year, the following measures have been taken:
Living rooms and corridors in the dormitories were repaired and furnished in accordance with modern standards.
Old furniture such as beds, wardrobes, desks, chairs, and other items were replaced with new ones.
