Expanded medical examination and on-site reception held in Peshku district

Deputy of the Bukhara Regional Council of People’s Deputies and Rector of the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sina, Professor Shuhrat Teshayev, conducted an on-site reception in the Alisher Navoi neighborhood of Peshku district. During the meeting, open dialogue was held with local residents to study their problems and suggestions. Some citizens raised issues related to medical care, treatment opportunities, access to medicines, and satisfaction with doctors’ services. All inquiries received clear, fair, and well-grounded responses.

Within the framework of the event, a comprehensive medical examination for the population was also organized. The process was carried out with the participation of professors and qualified doctors from the Bukhara State Medical Institute’s clinic.

About 20 highly qualified doctors and professors participated in the expanded medical check-up, providing thorough health screenings, early disease detection, and necessary medical advice.

Nearly 250 local residents were examined free of charge by therapists, neurologists, cardiologists, and pediatricians. Some patients received recommendations and referrals for further treatment.

According to representatives of the Bukhara State Medical Institute’s clinic, such initiatives will continue in the future to protect public health, expand preventive measures, and raise medical awareness. These efforts play an important role in bringing healthcare services closer to the population, enabling early detection and prevention of diseases.
