A presentation ceremony for the book “Uzbekistan Trade Unions: 120 Years of People’s Welfare History” was held at Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali Ibn Sino.

The event was attended by the Chairman of the Institute’s Trade Union Council Muxtor Jumayev, the leadership of the Regional Health Institutions Trade Union, as well as professors, teachers, and student youth.

During the presentation, the speakers provided detailed information on the formation of the trade union system in our country, its gradual development, and its current role over the past 120 years.

As highlighted, trade unions play an important role in protecting workers’ rights and interests, ensuring social support, improving working conditions, and enhancing the well-being of the population. The book covers these historical processes, important reforms, and practical outcomes in detail.

During the event, participants became familiar with the content of the book and exchanged views on the relevant aspects of the activities of trade unions.

The presentation was emphasized as being important in increasing the social activity of youth, encouraging them to actively participate in public life.
