​A series of events are being conducted as part of the visit of surgical specialists from the University of Lübeck Clinic (Federal Republic of Germany) to the Bukhara State Medical Institute.
​On the second day of the visit, the foreign experts visited the institute’s clinic, delivered lectures for students, reviewed the condition of hospitalized patients, and exchanged clinical views with local physicians.
​The guests also toured the institute’s Simulation Center, observing practical training sessions, modern medical simulators, and the integration of simulation technologies in medical education.
​Prospective areas of bilateral cooperation were discussed during the visit. Specifically, agreements were reached on expanding academic mobility programs, establishing faculty and student exchange initiatives, conducting joint scientific research, and organizing joint dissertation defenses.

For reference, cooperation between Bukhara State Medical Institute and Lübeck University was established in 2025 and continues to develop steadily across medical education, scientific research, and clinical practice.
​On September 24–25, visiting professors Tobias Keck, Ulrich Friedrich Wellner, and Hryhoriy Lapshyn are conducting joint surgical procedures, peer-to-peer knowledge exchanges, lectures, and hands-on workshops for undergraduate students, master’s candidates, and clinical residents.
​This visit serves to further enhance international collaboration, adopt advanced clinical practices from foreign experts, and elevate the professional capacity of students and early-career physicians.
