​Pursuant to Resolution No. 736 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 17, 2018, “On measures to improve the effectiveness of spiritual and educational work in the education system,“ Bukhara State Medical Institute has officially opened applications for the institutional stage of the “Student of the Year 2026” competition.
​The competition aims to support talented students who have achieved significant success in academic, scientific, and community activities, provide opportunities for personal and professional development, and offer financial and professional incentives. Applications will be accepted through October 25, 2026.

​Eligibility Criteria:

Full-time 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-year undergraduate students studying continuously (without academic leave) are eligible to participate. Students who secured 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in previous years are excluded from re-application.

​Competition Categories:

• ​Most Knowledgeable Student of the Year in Their Specialty
• ​Most Active Student Promoter of the Year
• ​Most Active Student Inventor and Innovator of the Year
• ​Most Active Student Athlete of the Year
• ​Most Active Gifted Student of the Year
• ​Most Active Creative Student of the Year

​Prizes and Awards:

Winners securing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places across all categories (a total of 21 students) will receive Honorary Certificates from the institute along with monetary awards:

— 1st Place: 8 times the Base Calculating Amount (BCA);
— 2nd Place: 6 times the Base Calculating Amount (BCA);
— 3rd Place: 4 times the Base Calculating Amount (BCA).
