BUKHARA TRAUMATOLOGISTS-ORTHOPEDISTS OBSERVED ONLINE A COMPLEX ROBOT-ASSISTED SURGERY

In our region, special attention is paid to the implementation of modern medical technologies in the practice of traumatology and orthopedics, as well as to enhancing the knowledge and experience of doctors.
A high-tech surgical procedure for total knee replacement using a robot assistant was performed at the Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics. This complex operation was broadcast live to the Bukhara Regional Multidisciplinary Medical Center.
Traumatologists and orthopedists of the Bukhara Regional Multidisciplinary Medical Center, as well as students studying in this field, participated in the event and had the opportunity to directly observe the surgical process.

During the online broadcast, specialists closely acquainted themselves with the features of knee joint replacement using robotic technologies, opportunities to achieve high precision in surgery, and modern approaches. This served to enrich the theoretical knowledge of medical staff and future doctors with practical experience.
It is worth noting that surgeries performed with a robot assistant make it possible to increase surgical precision, take into account the patient’s individual anatomical features, and improve treatment outcomes. Studying such technologies and promoting best practices in the regions are of great importance for the development of traumatology and orthopedic services.
Today, nearly 500 complex surgical procedures are performed annually in the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the Bukhara Regional Multidisciplinary Medical Center.
The continuous acquaintance of specialists with modern medical technologies and the adoption of advanced experience will serve to further enhance the quality of medical services provided to the population.
