The Central Asian International Educational Forum on the topic “Central Asia — A New Space for Education, Science, and Innovation” has commenced its work in Tashkent. Leaders of the education sector of Central Asian states, foreign delegations, university rectors, representatives of international organizations, and experts are participating in this prestigious international event.
The main objective of the forum is to strengthen regional cooperation in education, science, and innovation, expand ties between higher education institutions, and develop a unified educational space. Within the framework of the conference, special attention is paid to increasing the efficiency of scientific research, introducing modern educational technologies, and elevating international academic ties to a new level.

Representatives of the Abu Ali Ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical Institute — Vice-Rector Laziz Niyazov and Rector of the Institute Shukhrat Teshayev — are also participating in this forum. Their participation in the conference is of great importance in terms of developing international cooperation in medical education and science, as well as strengthening mutually beneficial ties with foreign universities.
During the forum, important agreements aimed at expanding the geography of international cooperation of the Bukhara State Medical Institute were reached. In particular, memorandums of understanding were signed with the Medical University of Gdańsk (Gdański Uniwersytet Medyczny) in Poland and Osh State University of Kyrgyzstan.

The Medical University of Gdańsk is one of the leading medical higher education institutions in Poland, conducting educational and scientific research in medicine, pharmacy, and healthcare. Cooperation with this university is expected to create new opportunities for improving the quality of medical education, developing scientific research, and studying advanced foreign experience.
The memorandum signed with Osh State University of Kyrgyzstan creates a basis for strengthening ties in education and science, developing academic exchange, and implementing joint scientific projects. Furthermore, this cooperation will serve to exchange experience between the two higher education institutions and enhance the capacity of specialists.
It should be noted that today the Bukhara State Medical Institute collaborates with more than 60 prestigious higher education institutions worldwide. The new memorandums are of great importance for further expanding the institute’s international relations, developing cooperation in medical education and scientific research, and applying international experience to the educational process.
