At Abu Ali ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical Institute, Stage 1 of the republican contest “Best Creative Idea” is officially announced.
We encourage creative, proactive, and forward-thinking students to take an active part in the contest!
✅ Who can participate?
All students enrolled in the Institute’s Bachelor’s and Master’s programs.
🏆 Stages and opportunities
🔹 Stage 1 — Institute-level selection
🔹 3 winners of the Institute stage will receive a ticket to the Republican stage
🔹 Winning projects at the Institute stage are planned to receive partial funding from the Institute’s extra-budgetary funds for implementation
🔹 All expenses related to participation in the Republican stage will be covered by the Institute
🔹 Participants will have the opportunity to defend their startup idea at a higher level
💰 Republican stage awards
Winners receive project grants and the following one-time cash prizes:
🏆 1st place — 100 million UZS (1 position)
🥈 2nd place — 50 million UZS (2 positions)
🥉 3rd place — 25 million UZS (4 positions)
📅 Key dates
📌 Application deadline: by March 30, 2026
📌 Review & winner selection: April 15, 2026
📌 Republican stage: May 2026

📌 How will projects be reviewed?
✅ 1) Submission requirements
Projects are accepted in accordance with the setted requirements and deadlines.
The application must clearly describe the implementation mechanism and expected results.
⛔️ 2) Incomplete or late submissions
Incomplete or late submissions will not be accepted.
If shortcomings are identified — the project will be returned for improvement within 1 week.
🎤 3) Pitching and evaluation
Projects will be defended before the Selection and Competition Committees in the form of a presentation (pitch).
Decisions are made by majority vote; in case of a tie, the chair’s vote is decisive.
📢 4) Announcement of results
Internal stage results will be announced by the HEI (Institute).
Republican stage winners will be announced by the Ministry.
✨ Note: creative and innovative ideas especially in medicine, pharmacy, healthcare, and biotechnology are strongly encouraged and supported.
