A meeting took place at Bukhara State Medical Institute with Dr. Colleen Kraft (MD, MBA), Professor of Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), USA.

The meeting was attended by the rector of the institute, Prof. Shukhrat Teshayev, faculty members of the Department of Pediatrics, and Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Laziz Niyazov.

During the discussion, the parties explored opportunities for studying advanced international experience in pediatrics, conducting joint scientific research, training specialists, and developing dual-degree educational programs.

They also agreed to strengthen cooperation in the fields of practical medicine and medical education by organizing joint seminars, workshops, and online consultations aimed at improving the qualifications of faculty members and students.

This meeting marked the beginning of new promising areas of cooperation between Bukhara State Medical Institute and leading medical institutions in the United States.
