🗣Also in Bukhara, on the occasion of the adoption of the National Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan on November 18, “We will run together in the same country, at the same time, for the same distance, with the same goal!”, a public running competition was held under the motto “New Breath”.

The marathon is one of the important events aimed at fostering respect for the flag of the country and patriotism in the hearts of citizens, especially young people, as well as promoting a healthy lifestyle.

The marathon started near the kindergarten “Sitora” in Bukhara. Speaking at the start of the competition, Governor of Bukhara region Botir Zaripov congratulated the participants on the 31st anniversary of the adoption of the National Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which is a symbol of national progress and a symbol of our glorious Motherland. He stressed that the development of physical culture and sports in our country is one of the main issues in the focus of the head of our state. He also commented on the role and place of sports in human life and health.

More than 3,000 participants aged 7 to 70 years – from students of higher educational institutions, students of secondary and sports schools, representatives of public organizations, yard activists to veterans – ran a distance of three kilometers for victory and health. About 500 students of the Institute actively participated in the marathon under the leadership of the rector of BUKHGMI Sh.Teshaeva and Vice – rector Z.Bahranova.
