“A corruption-free society must be the noble goal of every individual”

Educational seminar held at Bukhara State Medical Institute

An educational seminar titled “Creating a Corruption-Free Environment” was held at Abu Ali ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical Institute. The event was attended by the institute’s administration, professors, staff, and students.

🔍 The main goal of the seminar was to ensure transparency in the institution, eliminate corruption-related factors, and foster an uncompromising attitude toward corruption.

Special attention was given to the words of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev:

“The process of fighting corruption can never be limited by a specific timeframe. It is impossible to achieve the desired results solely through government efforts. This is the task of our entire society.”

The seminar discussed the tasks assigned to the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation at the meeting of the National Council on Anti-Corruption. In particular, the implementation of the “Roadmap” dated March 26, 2025 (No. 01-23-93), which focuses on identifying and eliminating corruption factors and effectively creating a corruption-free environment, was emphasized.

📌 Participants received information on:

  • the concept and consequences of corruption;
  • forming a zero-tolerance attitude toward corruption;
  • the responsibility of citizens in this process;
  • measures taken at both state and societal levels.

It was noted that those involved in corruption face criminal liability and that the government is firmly committed to combating this problem under the leadership of the President.

🔚 At the end of the event, the importance of implementing the principle “Fighting corruption is everyone’s duty” in everyday life was stressed, with each citizen playing their part in the cause.
