Today, at the Universal Sports Complex under Bukhara State University, a joint resolution and cooperation memorandums were signed between the Bukhara Regional Sports Department and higher educational institutions of Bukhara Region. The goal is to actively involve students in sports, develop mass sports among them, create necessary conditions, and widely promote a healthy lifestyle.

This joint resolution was signed in line with the tasks set during the meeting held on February 13 of this year under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Chairman of the National Olympic Committee, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The meeting focused on advancing the Olympic and Paralympic movements, specialized and mass sports to a new level, and increasing physical activity among the population. The resolution aims to regularly hold mass sports events among university students, strengthen a healthy lifestyle, and cultivate individuals who can resist harmful influences, have strong confidence in life, and develop firm beliefs.

The event was attended by the rector of Bukhara State Medical Institute, Shuhrat Teshayev, who also signed the documents.
