In the small conference hall of Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sina, the next meeting of the Presidium of Rectors of higher medical educational institutions of our country took place.

The meeting discussed the ongoing reforms in medical education, ensuring the integration of theory and practice in the educational process, further improving students’ practical skills, expanding international cooperation, as well as modern approaches to training specialists.

In addition, the agenda included issues of improving the qualifications of professors and teachers, enhancing the quality of education at clinical bases, developing scientific research, and introducing innovations into the field.

The meeting was chaired by the head of the council, Rector of Samarkand State Medical University, Jasur Rizaev. In his speech, he emphasized the priority tasks facing the heads of medical educational institutions, highlighting the need to follow international standards in training specialists.

At the conclusion of the meeting, agreements were reached on strengthening experience exchange, developing joint programs, and further enhancing cooperation among medical universities.
