A memorandum of cooperation was signed with the Acharya Institute together with the Ministry of ICT

Currently, an Indian-Uzbek business forum is being held in Delhi in cooperation with the Confederation of Indian Industry and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.

This business forum is a platform for discussing and implementing potential investment projects in various fields, serves to develop trade, industrial, transport ties between the two countries, and expand transit corridors between Uzbekistan and India.

In this regard, within the framework of this business forum, today, on July 28, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Information Technology and Communications Development, the Government of Bukhara Region and the Acharya Institute (India).

Based on the memorandum, it is planned to open a branch of the Acharya Institute in Uzbekistan in the Karakul district of Bukhara region and further train mature specialists in the field of information and communication technologies in this higher educational organization.

We remind you that the Minister of Information Technology and Communications Development Sh. On January 19 of this year, Shermatov held a meeting with the leadership of the Acharya Institute, where issues of opening a branch of this institute in Uzbekistan were also discussed.

The Acharya Institute Network, founded in 1990, is one of the largest private educational institutions in Bangalore. It consists of 10 institutes and 15 research centers. There are more than 15,000 students and 250 doctoral students from 75 countries in the network of Acharya institutes. The training is conducted according to more than 100 educational programs.
