A mobile training seminar on “Innovative Approaches in Modern Ophthalmology” was held at Bukhara State Medical Institute with the participation of specialists from Bukhara and Navoi regions.

At the event, organized on the basis of the relevant instruction letter of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, presentations were delivered on modern approaches in ophthalmology, innovative treatment methods, and advanced technologies being introduced into practice.

At the opening ceremony of the seminar, Shuhrat Teshayev, Rector of Abu Ali ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical Institute, and Khushnud Jalilov, First Deputy Head of the Bukhara Regional Health Department, delivered speeches.

As noted, today, as in all areas of medicine, the broad implementation of innovative technologies in ophthalmological practice, as well as the regular improvement of specialists’ knowledge and skills, is becoming increasingly important.

It was emphasized that such training seminars contribute to improving the qualifications of doctors working in the regions, promoting best practices, and strengthening public health.

During the seminar, specialists from the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Eye Microsurgery gave presentations on modern diagnostic and treatment methods, as well as new technologies used in complex clinical cases.

The participants received detailed answers from specialists to the questions of interest to them and exchanged experience with one another.
