As part of an academic mobility agreement between universities, staff members from the Department of Infectious Diseases and Phthisiology of Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University — Head of the Department, Doctor of Medical Sciences G.A. Utepbergenova, and lecturers A.U. Kudabay and S.B. Baymbetova — arrived at Abu Ali ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical University on May 12, 2025. They joined the Department of Epidemiology (headed by Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences M.R. Mirzoyeva) and the Department of Infectious Diseases (headed by Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences A.R. Oblokulov).

During their visit, the guest lecturers delivered lectures on highly dangerous infectious diseases, conducted practical sessions with students of the General Medicine program, and participated in clinical work at the Bukhara Regional Infectious Diseases Hospital. In the intensive care unit, they consulted on patients diagnosed with jaundice and viral pneumonia.
