Yesterday, an international scientific and practical conference was held at the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sina, which was attended by invited scientists from leading institutions in the world in the field of oncology, as well as specialists from leading higher educational institutions of our country. started his work. The conference was attended by experienced and young scientists from Central Asian countries: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Korea, Mongolia, Turkey, Russia and Austria. At the conference, the possibilities of widespread use of modern methods of combating cancer were analyzed in detail and scientists exchanged experience.
At the conference, lectures were heard on such topics as “Current state of diagnosis and treatment of hepatopancreatic-duodenal tumors in Uzbekistan”, “Esophageal cancer: a multidisciplinary approach to treatment”, “Immunohistochemical diagnosis of cancer”, “Lymphomas of the gastrointestinal tract”. .
As part of the event, a conference “Young Oncologists” was organized, in which young doctors working in this field in different regions of the country took part in their lectures.
At the international conference, important topics related to the field of oncology were discussed in separate meetings. In it, experts provided information about important advances in the treatment and prevention of diseases in this area in recent years.
The specialists also exchanged views on modern diagnostics in oncology, surgical oncology and personalized therapy.
During the conference, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Department of Oncology of Moscow State Medical University. Sechenov and the Bukhara State Medical Institute.
