On April 25–26, 2025, an international summit-forum dedicated to the integration of traditional and modern medicine in the fields of urology and nephrology is taking place in Xi’an, People’s Republic of China, within the framework of the “Great Silk Road” initiative.

Representatives from Bukhara State Medical Institute — Nilufar Akhmedova, Shohida Naimova, and Gulnoz Sulaymonova — as well as Muzaffar Khatabov, head of the Nephrology Department at the Bukhara Regional Multidisciplinary Medical Center (BRMMC), are actively participating with scientific presentations.

During the forum, topics such as the integration of traditional and modern medicine in urology and nephrology, innovative methods of diagnosis and treatment, and cutting-edge scientific achievements are being discussed. The scholars from Bukhara also shared information about ongoing medical reforms and achievements in Uzbekistan.
