Today, the professors of this university, who visited our country from across the ocean, visited the ancient and modern city of Bukhara.

Webster University professors Daniel Muller and Douglas Whitman, the director of the university’s branch in Tashkent, Rasul Rahmonov and Sherzod Mamatov, were welcomed at the Bukhara railway station by Shukhrat Teshayev, vice-rector of BSMI, and Laziz Niyazov, vice-rector.

The guests visited the new campus of the institute, got acquainted with the Simulation Center, clinic, student accommodation and sports complex, and highly appreciated the university’s activities.

During the negotiations, it was reported that this university is the leading higher education institution in the world. In it, education, research and management training are carried out in an integrated manner.

According to the bilateral dialogue, Webster University is planning to open a joint cooperation program in the direction of management in medical institutions of higher education in Uzbekistan. This master’s degree program, originally organized at Webster University in the capital, prepares leaders in the field of health care.

It is worth noting that such large-scale projects are planned to be organized in the Bukhara State Medical Institute in the future.

At the end of the meeting, the rector of the institute, Shuhrat Teshaev, presented gifts with the symbol of the university to the American guests. They also visited the historical places of Bukhara.
