CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE FROM SHUKHRAT TESHAYEV, RECTOR OF BUKHARA STATE MEDICAL INSTITUTE, ON UZBEK LANGUAGE DAY

Dear Faculty Members, Students, and Colleagues,

I extend my most heartfelt congratulations to you on the occasion of Uzbek Language Day, a celebration of an invaluable symbol of our national identity, spirituality, and cultural values.
Our native language is a profound treasure that embodies the centuries-old history, rich spiritual heritage, and national pride of our people. Preserving its purity, enhancing its prestige, and passing it down to future generations as a unique legacy is a sacred duty for all of us.
Today, significant emphasis is placed on elevating the status of the state language and expanding its role across science, education, modern technology, and international communication. In this context, the higher medical education system plays a vital role.
At the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali Ibn Sino, raising the younger generation to respect national values and love the native language, adhering to state language standards in academic activities, and expanding the scope of the Uzbek language in medicine remain key priorities.

Dear Students,

Thoroughly study our language, utilize its rich capabilities, and refine your oral and written communication skills. Expressing your thoughts fluently, clearly, and accurately is a fundamental quality of an educated and highly competent specialist.
It is particularly gratifying that international students studying at our institute also contribute to learning and promoting our language. Each year, thousands of young people from various countries, including India, come to our institute to pursue medical education while actively learning the Uzbek language and showing deep respect for our culture. The achievements of our international students, who win national competitions such as “Uzbek Language Expert” (“O‘zbek tili bilimdoni”), clearly demonstrate the growing global appeal and prestige of our state language.

Dear Faculty Members,

I am confident that through your educational and scientific endeavors, respect for our native language and high standards of speech culture will continue to take deep root in the hearts of our youth.
I take this opportunity to wish you all good health, family happiness, peace, and great success in your academic and professional pursuits.
Our native language is our national pride and spiritual wealth. Happy Uzbek Language Day!

Shukhrat Teshayev,
Rector of the Abu Ali Ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical Institute
