On the initiative of the Faculty of Medicine of the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sina, spiritual, educational, and social meetings were organized in the “Mokhikhossa” mahalla citizens’ assembly.
​Initially, tutors of the General Medicine program held a round table with the mahalla chairman, activists, and students residing in this area. During the meeting, the living conditions of students, their pressing issues, and proposals were discussed, and views were exchanged on relevant matters.
​In addition, 1st-year students of group 116 of the Faculty of Medicine visited elderly people living alone and persons with disabilities residing in the mahalla. They were shown care and attention through warm conversations.
​Such initiatives serve to foster a sense of humanism, compassion, social responsibility, and respect for the elderly among young people.
