These days, a delegation led by the rector of the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali Ibn Sina, Shuhrat Teshayev, is in India.

Our representatives are holding a series of beneficial meetings, discussions, and events.

A graduation ceremony was held for 230 Indian students who successfully completed their studies at the Bukhara State Medical Institute last academic year. The event, which took place in Hyderabad, was attended by representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in India, the diplomatic corps, the institute’s administration, graduates and their families, as well as media representatives.

Additionally, the institute is initiating cooperation with another Indian university.

Currently, the rector of the Bukhara State Medical Institute, Shuhrat Teshayev, along with a group of professors and lecturers, is in Hyderabad, where they visited the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) and held discussions with the university’s leadership.

It is worth noting that this university was established in 1965 as the Nagarjuna Sagar Engineering College and gained university status in 1972.

At present, it has 427,000 students.
