Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino is one of the country’s prestigious higher education institutions that consistently develops international cooperation and partnerships. Today, students representing nearly 30 nationalities from more than 20 countries around the world are successfully mastering the medical sciences at the institute.

Today, a diploma award ceremony was held for more than 90 students from India and Pakistan who completed their studies in the General Medicine program during the 2020–2026 academic years.

The ceremonial event was organized by PeopleHive LLC, one of the institute’s international partners. The ceremony was attended by graduates, their parents, faculty members, and distinguished guests.

Addressing the participants, the institute’s Rector, Shuhrat Teshayev, congratulated the graduates on reaching this important milestone in their lives and emphasized that the knowledge and skills they acquired at Bukhara State Medical Institute would serve as a solid foundation for their future professional careers.

He also highlighted the favorable conditions created for international students, the institute’s strong international reputation, and ongoing efforts to further expand international cooperation and partnerships.

During the ceremony, diplomas were formally presented to the graduates. The graduates and their parents expressed their gratitude to the institute’s leadership and particularly noted the high quality of the educational process.

The event once again demonstrated the institute’s status as an international educational center and contributed to strengthening educational and cultural ties among different countries.
