High Trust Placed in Youth — A Solid Foundation for Development

The open dialogue between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and young people, held at the Kuksaroy Residence, became a historically significant event in the life of our nation’s youth.

As the Rector of the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino, I followed this meeting with a deep sense of responsibility and great pride.

First and foremost, this dialogue once again demonstrated the Head of State’s strong trust in young people and his continuous attention to their needs and aspirations. Showing concern for the destiny of more than 22 million young citizens, elevating youth support to a new level, and assigning clear responsibilities to every minister and regional leader are not merely declarations, but clear examples of firm political will and a strategic approach.

Today, hundreds of thousands of young people enter the labor market each year. This process requires a systematic and forward-looking approach from the state. The allocation of an additional $200 million for youth entrepreneurship, the increase in credit limits, and the launch of the “Future Entrepreneur” program are important strategic decisions aimed at ensuring the economic independence of young people. In particular, unsecured loans and investment opportunities for innovative startups serve to actively support youth initiatives.

The initiatives put forward in the field of education are especially relevant for higher education institutions. The “My First Profession” program creates opportunities for graduates to gain practical experience through internships while receiving stipends, which will play a crucial role in their professional development. Expanding dual education in technical colleges, orienting students toward modern professions, and introducing advanced foreign experience will elevate the quality of education to a new stage.

During the dialogue, initiatives were also proposed to support the volunteer movement, allocate grants, and encourage youth social engagement. Strengthening young people’s participation and initiative in society is a key factor in today’s development. Furthermore, measures to support young families, provide mortgage benefits, and promote reading culture contribute not only to the economic stability of youth but also to their spiritual and moral growth.

Of particular importance is the designation of every Thursday as “Youth Day,” which will further enhance openness and accountability among local leaders. This step will transform youth policy into a clear, effective, and well-monitored system.

In conclusion, the open dialogue at Kuksaroy represents high trust in youth, a clear roadmap for unlocking their potential, and a strong investment in the future. I am confident that the opportunities being created will inspire young people to become even more active, инициативе, and responsible.

We believe that the impressions gained from today’s meeting and the ideas expressed during the dialogue will soon be transformed into practical initiatives, playing a significant role in the development of our country and the advancement of its young generation.
