Hello dear team, teachers and students!

I sincerely congratulate you on the 31st anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which is a defender of the rights and freedoms of citizens, an important legal basis for the development of education, science, culture, and spirituality, and a solid legal foundation for all our achievements and goals achieved in the years of independence!

In fact, the Constitution of any country is a document that reflects the existence of this country in the world, as well as its creation on a legal basis. The Constitution of our independence is of great importance in the socio-political, spiritual and economic life of our people. According to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the face and reputation of any country is its Constitution. The Constitution is an encyclopedia that introduces the state as a state and the nation as a nation to the world.

This year’s holiday is different from all the others. Therefore, for the first time in our national history, our Constitution was adopted in a new version based on a national referendum. In the past short period, the political-legal, social-economic, cultural-educational landscape of our society has completely changed. Freedom and openness, rule of law, mutually beneficial cooperation with the world community have become the main direction of our state’s policy. Adhering to the idea of building a legal democratic state and a free civil society sealed in the constitution, a wide range of great works have been carried out and a lot of experience has been accumulated. The fact that Uzbekistan is a sovereign, democratic, legal, social and secular state in the new version of the Constitution is a clear proof of our opinion. The national nature of this encyclopedic document is that it clearly defines the issues of protection and development of our national customs, traditions, beliefs, and in general, our national values. The interests of all layers of the society were taken into account in the new version of the Constitution, adopted on the basis of a national referendum, around the idea of building a new Uzbekistan. Our General Council literally became the Constitution of the people. In Uzbekistan, human dignity, honor and pride are of primary importance in all spheres – the fact that it is defined as a priority issue of state policy is the legal guarantee of citizens today and tomorrow.

In fact, the main goal of the systematic reforms implemented in our country is to glorify human dignity, to place his interests in the center, to ensure the well-being and comfortable life of our people, to establish a people-friendly social state, and to achieve justice and the rule of law.

The long-term development strategy of our country is a solid legal basis and a reliable guarantee for the future prosperity of our country and people.

I congratulate you all once again on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the adoption of our Constitution. Let there be peace in our country and peace in our homes.

With respect and honor
