Indian students celebrated their holiday.
Currently, there are about 600 students studying at the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sina in the Republic of Khinistan. They have been provided with sufficient conditions to celebrate their values and traditions.
Yesterday, Indian students celebrated the holiday “Mother”. The event was attended by the rector’s adviser Maruf Makhmudov and the first vice-rector for youth affairs and spiritual work Zubaida Bakhranova.
It is noteworthy that this festival of “Mother” is a national festival celebrated by Hindus of Kerala and Malayali in South India and this festival of Onam is celebrated on Dwadashi Tithi of Shukla Paksha in the month of Bhadrapada and under Shravana Nakshatra. It will be celebrated from 25th August to 30th September 2024. According to Hindu mythology, King Mahabali was a very generous and great ruler of Kerala.
