Japan presented the latest modern computed tomography equipment to the clinic of the Bukhara Medical Institute

A ceremony dedicated to the transfer of modern computed tomography equipment and a specially equipped medical container by the Government of Japan to the Ministry of Health was held at the Republican Center for Scientific and Practical Medicine of Epidemiology, Microbiology, Infectious and Parasitic Diseases.

The event was attended by Minister of Health B. Musayev, member of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Japan Keiji Furuya, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Uzbekistan Yoshinori Fujiyama, Rector of the Bukhara Medical Institute Shukhrat Teshayev.

As it is noted in it, from the first days of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Japanese government was one of the first to provide humanitarian assistance to Uzbekistan.

In particular, in March 2020, this country allocated 500 million yen to support the healthcare system of our country.

At the expense of these funds, effective antiviral drugs manufactured in Japan were first imported, and then the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) delivered high-tech X-ray machines to medical institutions in our country.

This time, due to this grant project, the Aquilion Prime SP 160 CT CT scanner and 1 specially equipped SANSEI medical diagnostic container were transferred to 3 medical institutions of our country.

According to the plan, modern CT scanners were donated to the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care, the Republican Center for Scientific and Practical Medicine of Epidemiology, Microbiology, Infectious and Parasitic Diseases, the clinic of the Bukhara State Medical Institute.

The special advantages of this computed tomography are that it can be used to examine patients. In addition, the ability to control this equipment allows you to obtain high-quality images with minimal radiation exposure.

In addition, the SANSEI medical and diagnostic container is an independent mobile diagnostic complex operating in an autonomous mode and equipped with CT scanners, ultrasound diagnostics and X-rays.

At the event, it was emphasized that this modern equipment serves for timely accurate diagnosis of patients, and also creates great comfort for field employees.
