In honor of March 8 – International Women’s Day, the Bukhara Regional Health Department organized a festive event titled “Kind Women – The Heart of the Family, The Reflection of Society!” The grand celebration took place in the large conference hall of the Abu Ali ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical Institute (BukhSMI).

The event gathered active female professors and teachers of the institute, dedicated doctors, midwives, nurses, and healthcare sector leaders who tirelessly serve in the medical field.

The opening speeches were delivered by Shuhrat Teshaev, Rector of BukhSMI, and Elyor Oltiyev, Head of the Bukhara Regional Health Department. They expressed their heartfelt gratitude, emphasizing the invaluable role of women in society and their dedication and compassion in the medical field.

Additionally, Muxsin Rajabov, Head of RSHTYOIM, addressed the audience, highlighting the achievements of outstanding women in medicine. He also paid special tribute to Aynur Feyzu og‘li, the representative of the University of Health Sciences in Bukhara.

During the event, the Medical Association, the Nurses’ Association, and trade unions honored women who have devoted many years to the medical field and have served patients with sincerity and dedication. They were presented with certificates of appreciation and commemorative gifts.

The celebration took place in a joyful and warm atmosphere. The performances of pop singers uplifted the audience, filling the hall with festive spirit. Guests enjoyed a lively and colorful concert program.
