In our country, every year the second Sunday of November is widely celebrated as a professional holiday of medical workers. In this regard, today, on November 12, a solemn event was held in the regional administration.

Employees of medical and preventive institutions of the region, scientists and medical specialists, veterans of the industry were invited to the celebration. Gulchehra Ihtiyarova, Head of the 1st Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Bukhara State Medical Institute, was also awarded the badge “Excellent Health Worker of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.

In addition, active professors and teachers were presented with letters of thanks and valuable gifts from the Bukhara Regional Council of People’s Deputies.
