On September 29–30 of this year, the Fourth Uzbekistan–Belarus Interparliamentary Forum took place in the city of Khiva.

​Two vice-rectors of the Abu Ali Ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical Institute — Laziz Niyazov and Malik Amonov — participated in this prestigious forum.
​Significant agreements were reached during the session focused on “Strategic Partnership of Uzbekistan and Belarus in the Humanitarian and Social Spheres: Opportunities and Prospects.” Specifically, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Bukhara State Medical Institute and Belarusian State Pedagogical University.

​This memorandum will serve to strengthen international cooperation between the two higher education institutions, facilitate experience exchange in education and science, implement prospective projects, and foster new areas of mutually beneficial collaboration.
​In the future, the universities plan to establish cooperation across a number of key areas.
