Minister of Health Reviews Activities of Bukhara State Medical Institute

As part of a working visit to the Bukhara region, a delegation led by Minister of Health Eldor Adilov visited Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sina and closely reviewed the institution’s educational, scientific, and clinical activities.

During the visit, the Minister toured the Institute’s Traditional Medicine Laboratory, Information Resource Center (Library), Museum, academic buildings, student startup project exhibition, and the modern Simulation Center. He also familiarized himself with the operations of the Institute’s 200-bed multidisciplinary clinic, including its facilities and advanced medical equipment.

The educational environment created for students, the system for supporting scientific research, the conditions aimed at developing practical skills, and the Institute’s innovative projects were highly appreciated.
During the visit, discussions were held with the Institute’s Rector, Shukhrat Teshayev, and the Chief Physician of the clinic, Shermuhammad Tursunov, on issues related to improving the quality of education, enhancing the effectiveness of clinical training, and further developing scientific activities.

“Thanks to its modern infrastructure, highly qualified specialists, and extensive capabilities, the clinic of Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sina should become not only a provider of high-quality medical services to the population but also a leading medical center where education, science, and clinical practice are effectively integrated. Future physicians should strengthen their theoretical knowledge through practical experience, while scientific research should contribute to tangible outcomes. Our country’s leadership pays special attention to the comprehensive support of such institutions.

Effectively utilizing the existing potential and transforming the clinic into one of the region’s exemplary educational and healthcare institutions is an important task,” said Minister of Health Eldor Adilov.
At the conclusion of the visit, relevant recommendations and instructions were provided to further improve the Institute’s activities, strengthen the integration of education and clinical practice, and support innovative projects.
