Starting from August 1, 2023, payments made by taxpayers for the education of their children in educational institutions in Uzbekistan, regardless of their age, will be included in the category of non-taxable income.

 This was specified in the presidential decree on the implementation of the new version of the constitution.

 What does this gospel mean?

 Under the current rules, when parents paid for their children’s contracts under the age of 26, the 12 percent income tax on the paid portion was waived and refunded.

 Now, starting from August 1, the age limit in this rule is being removed.  Now, it doesn’t matter whether you are 30 or 35, the amount paid for your child’s contract is not subject to income tax.
