Public Health in Focus: On-site reception and medical examination held in G‘ijduvon
As part of the “Urgent 90 Days” initiative, the Abu Ali ibn Sina Bukhara State Medical Institute is placing great emphasis on improving public health literacy, disease prevention, and localized treatment services.

Today, a delegation led by the Institute’s Rector, Professor Shuhrat Teshaev, visited the G‘ijduvon district to conduct an on-site public reception. During the visit, local issues related not only to healthcare but also to medical culture in society were heard and steps for addressing them were outlined.

📍 Citizens who sought medical consultations were granted the opportunity for discounted treatment at the BSMI clinic, reaffirming the institute’s commitment to serving the public not only through education but also practical medical services.

👨⚕️ Additionally, a large-scale medical screening was organized at the district’s music school, involving over 40 qualified specialists, professors, and doctors. Cardiologists, therapists, gynecologists, endocrinologists, neurologists, and others examined hundreds of patients and provided essential diagnoses and recommendations.

🔍 Such initiatives are vital for promoting prevention, enabling early diagnosis, and raising medical awareness in the community.

➡️ The leadership of Bukhara State Medical Institute will continue these outreach activities as part of the “Urgent 90 Days” campaign.
