Various sports competitions are being organized at the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sina as part of the “Five Important Initiatives” program to meaningfully organize students’ leisure time, promote a healthy lifestyle, and increase interest in sports.
​In particular, the teams Manchester and Legenda competed in the final stage of the futsal tournament held among the institute students. According to the final results, team Manchester won with a score of 2:1 and took first place.

​At the institute stage, the teams secured the following positions:

​1st place — Manchester;
​2nd place — Legenda;
​3rd place — Döstlik (Friendship).

​Additionally, a friendly volleyball match was held among female students of group 210 of the Faculty of Medicine, and a tennis competition was organized with the participation of students from group 223. A football tournament was also conducted among students of the International Medical Faculty.
​These sports events serve the 2nd direction of the “Five Important Initiatives” program, aimed at physical training of youth and demonstrating their athletic abilities.
