The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Uzbekistan visited Bukhara.

Today, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Uzbekistan, Mrs. Smita Pant, visited the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sina.

Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Ambassador Shukhrat Teshaev, Dean of the Faculty of International Medicine Laziz Niyazov and Dean of the Faculty of International Medicine Dilnoza Hasanova visited important centers: the library, simulation center, clinic, and the main building of the Smith Pant Institute.
He wrote down his wishes in the book of honorary guests of the institute.

During the dialogue, a number of important issues were discussed, such as further strengthening relations between the two countries, personnel exchange, academic mobility, establishing cooperation in the field of scientific research, and creating joint scientific laboratories.

Smita Pant also interacted with Indian students studying at the institute. He listened to their calls. He told the students that the conditions created at the institute meet international standards.

For information, today 750 Indian students are studying at the Bukhara State Medical Institute.
