Today, a jury discussion was held in the large assembly hall of our institute regarding the anthem contest for the students of Bukhara State Medical Institute. The event was opened by the Rector of the Institute, Shukhrat Jumayevich Teshayev, who emphasized the importance of selecting the most suitable anthem and wished all participants the best of luck.

Members of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan and teachers from the Department of Uzbek Language and Literature were invited to join the jury panel.

Among more than 50 submissions, the anthem written by Barchinoy Obidova, a student of group 433, was chosen as the winner. The prize — a voucher worth 5 million UZS — was presented by the Rector’s advisor, Maruf Mahmudov.

Additionally, a collection of poems brought by a member of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan was received by Umidjon Tokhirov, coordinator of the Institute’s Poetry Club.
