Today, the First Uzbekistan–Russia Forum titled “Protecting Mental Health in the Eurasian Region: Global Goals and Actions” has started at the Bukhara State Medical Institute.

The event was opened by the Rector of the Institute, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Shuhrat Jumayevich Teshayev. In his opening remarks, he emphasized the importance of the forum in promoting mental health protection, implementing modern scientific approaches into practice, and strengthening international cooperation.

Distinguished foreign and local professors, leading specialists, and experts are participating in the forum. They are discussing pressing issues in psychiatry and narcology, the development of national services, and the implementation of scientific achievements into practical medicine.
