“From the teachings of Abu Ali ibn Sino to the third Renaissance” – under this motto the student Olympiad was held at the Bukhara State Medical Institute.

More than 200 students from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, state and non-state medical universities in our country took part in it.

Participants tested their knowledge in several sections and areas. The winners and active participants of the Olympiad were awarded diplomas of 1st, 2nd, 3rd degree and various nominations.

As a result, the team of BukhGMI and Asfandierov Kazakh National University took 1st place.

Voronezh State Medical University and Tashkent Medical Academy Team – 2nd place,

Medical University of Tajikistan, SamSMU and students of the Military Medical Academy of the Armed Forces of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan – 3rd place.

As part of the International Olympiad, about 20 master classes were held for students of the Bukhara State Medical Institute from leading foreign and domestic experts on basic sciences, scientific research methods, topical issues of pediatrics and dentistry in modern medicine.
