As previously reported, during the videoconference meeting led by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev focused on youth issues, leaders at all levels were given specific instructions on working with young people. Accordingly, the rector of the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino was assigned to mentor 38 young people in need of social protection, including persons with disabilities and those from vulnerable groups.

Rector Sh. Teshayev, Vice-Rector Z. Bakhranova, and professors are actively working to fulfill this task. They are identifying the problems of the assigned youth and finding practical solutions for each case.

On May 20, Rector Sh. Teshayev visited youth from Shofirkon district assigned to his care. He visited three neighborhoods and personally met with youth such as Gulasal Khusenova, Bekzod Ibodov, Mirzokhid Khayrullayev, and Rukhshona Khaitova at their homes.

He stated that sick and disabled youth will receive treatment at medical facilities and be placed under the supervision of qualified doctors. In addition, the issues of socially vulnerable youth are being studied, and work is being carried out jointly with relevant organizations to find solutions.
