The Rector of Bukhara State Medical Institute Familiarized Himself with the New Buildings of Andijan State Medical Institute

On May 28, within the framework of the First Forum of Rectors of Higher Educational Institutions of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, the Rector of Bukhara State Medical Institute, Shuhrat Teshayev, visited Andijan region to become acquainted with the activities of Andijan State Medical Institute.

During the visit, ADMI Rector M. Madazimov introduced the guest to the institute’s clinic and a newly constructed academic building designed to accommodate 2,000 students. Currently, major renovation work is being carried out at the 650-bed clinic. This facility is significant in that it can simultaneously provide educational and practical training opportunities for up to 11,000 students.

The new academic building was constructed on a 2-hectare plot of land in accordance with Presidential Decree No. PQ-5154, dated June 21, 2021, as part of the initiative to develop the “New Andijan” district and support entrepreneurship. It has now been commissioned for use, offering space for 2,000 students.

During the visit, the rectors explored the Simulation Center located within the new building. They observed demonstrations involving the use of robotic simulators.

Rector Sh. Teshayev praised the educational programs at the institute, particularly the achievements in the paramedicine field. He emphasized the strong material and technical base supporting this progress and noted that such experiences contribute to strengthening inter-institutional cooperation in higher education.
