“Zakovat” intellectual Olympiad among students for the President’s prize is being held these days.

50 teams of higher educational institutions and more than 500 young people took part in the republican stage of the Olympiad, and they tried their hand at “Zakovat”, erudite-quartet, checkers, chess and individual games.

In the “Zakovat” game, after additional questions, the winners were announced:

1st place: Bukhara State Medical Institute;

2nd place: University of science and technology;

3rd place: National University of Uzbekistan.

The winning teams will be awarded the following cash prizes:

1st place: 100 million soums;

2nd place: 60 million soums;

3rd place: 40 million soums.
