In April 2022, a cooperation agreement was signed with the Bukhara State Medical Institute and the I. Kant Baltic Federal State University of the Russian Federation, which is one of the 10 federal higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation. At the university, students receive education in more than 150 areas. It also ranks 601-650 in the QS ranking (QS World University Ranking 2022).

On July 10-24 this year, 3 postgraduate students of the Bukhara State Medical Institute took part in the summer internship school organized by this university in the direction of “Microbiology and Biotechnology”. During the practice, students observed and participated in the processes of DNA synthesis from RNA-storing organisms by reverse transcription, isolation of nucleotides from tissue cells by the Sanger method and determination of their sizes, determination and diagnosis of the DNA order in the sequencer apparatus.

According to the agreement, from September students will bring academic mobility education to this university.
