The Department of Traumatology – Orthopedics, and Neurosurgery was established on March 8, 1993 in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 665 and the order of the Rector of Bukhara State Medical Institute No. 91-9 / 3 . The department of” Traumatology of orthopedics, neurosurgery and children’s surgery” is located on the basis of the Bukhara regional versatile medical center
Staff of department headed by PhDs in Medicine associate professor Akramov V. R actively participates in medical activity of office of orthopedics and consequences of injuries of the Bukhara regional versatile medical center which is on 1 floor of the new modern building. Volume of beds 35 (15 budgetary, 20 paid). Assistants to department are engaged in modern high-tech methods of treatment of fractures of long tubular bones such as (the blocking intramedul osteosynthesis, a extramedular osteosynthesis in LCP plates). The associate professor Akramov V. R is engaged in endoprosthesis replacement of large joints, passed a training in Israel, Italy, Russia. Since 2014 beginnings to be engaged in the first in area in high-tech arthroscopic treatment of a knee joint. Within these years performed more than 500 operations by an arthroscopic method.
